Rebekah Denison Hewitt has lived in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, South Carolina, North Carolina, and currently calls Wisconsin home. She holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was a Martha Meier Renk Distinguished Graduate Fellow. Her poems and essays have appeared in journals such Narrative, The Rumpus, Poetry Northwest, and The Pinch. Her first manuscript, Creature in Bloom, is forthcoming from the University of Wisconsin Press. She has four children, a husband and a dog and works as a librarian.
